The patient tubing is the catheter’s best friend. 

A SSCOR DuCanto catheter is essential to critical airway management and the SALAD Suction technique.  Don’t limit the catheter’s effectiveness by adding a standard, small bore connecting tubing to the system.  A clog at the connection between the catheter and the tubing is just as bad as a clog at the tip of the catheter.

The SSCOR DuCanto Catheter Kit combines the SSCOR DuCanto Catheter with a large bore, 9/32” inner diameter connecting tubing, ensuring that there are no ‘choke points’ on the way to the canister.  The SSCOR DuCanto Catheter Kit comparison video demonstrates the advantages of the large I.D. suction tubing when combined with the SSCOR DuCanto Catheter. The lack of a thumb port on the SSCOR DuCanto Catheter makes suction immediately available when the catheter is connected to the suction source. By removing the vacuum control, (thumb port) the caregiver does not need to locate and keep their thumb correctly positioned over the thumb port to clear a patient’s airway.
